Cappuccino's production network includes a manufacturing partner that has been audited under the amfori BSCI framework.
amfori describes BSCI as a system for identifying, assessing, verifying and mitigating social risks at production sites. Its official guidance also states that BSCI is not a certification. The audit applies to the named partner site within our production network. It does not mean that Guangzhou Cappuccino Leather Handbag Co., Ltd. itself should be described as a “BSCI-certified factory.”
The distinction identifies the site to which the audit evidence belongs and lets the buyer review it against the correct legal entity and location.
Restricted-substance testing for selected samples
Selected CAPPUCCINO bag models and submitted materials underwent third-party testing for the restricted substances listed in the corresponding RoHS report. The submitted samples passed the stated test limits.
This evidence is sample- and model-specific: it applies only to models Cap001 and Cap001-1 and should not be expanded into a claim that every Cappuccino product is “RoHS certified.” The European Commission describes RoHS as rules restricting hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. For a non-electrical bag, these laboratory results are best presented as restricted-substance testing of submitted materials, not as CE certification or a universal factory certificate.
For new projects, buyers should tell us which market, construction and chemical requirements apply. Any additional test plan should be agreed for the actual materials and finished product involved.
Registration in Germany's LUCID Packaging Register
Guangzhou Cappuccino Leather Handbag Co., Ltd. is registered as a producer in Germany's LUCID Packaging Register.
The German Central Agency Packaging Register explains that LUCID is a public register for companies with obligations under German packaging law. This is evidence of statutory packaging registration. It is not a product-quality certificate and does not replace project-specific packaging, labelling or environmental obligations.
For buyers selling in Germany, the record can be relevant to supplier and packaging due diligence. Exact responsibilities still depend on who first places the packaged goods on the German market and how the supply arrangement is structured.

Original audit and registration files can contain partner-factory identities, addresses, IDs, tax information and other data that should not appear on a public marketing page.
Our website therefore presents a short scope statement. Qualified buyers can request relevant, unmodified supporting documents during supplier verification. This protects confidential information without replacing evidence with an edited certificate.
What buyers should check in any compliance claim
- Is the document issued to the company, a partner factory or another party?
- Does it cover a site, management system, product or submitted sample?
- Which model, material, date and standard are listed?
- Is the record current, and can its issuer or registry be checked?
- Does the marketing claim match the actual scope?
