Understand why minimum order quantity and sampling requirements vary between custom bag, wallet and accessory projects—and what information is needed for a useful review.
MOQ depends on the product construction, selected materials and colours, custom hardware or moulds, decoration method, packaging and how components are supplied. A stock material direction may have different constraints from a custom-dyed programme. The useful question is therefore the MOQ for a defined specification, not one universal number for every bag.
A reference image can begin a discussion, but it does not define dimensions, materials, internal construction or branding. Add the intended use, approximate size, compartment requirements, target quantity and market. Any unknown item should be marked for recommendation so assumptions can be confirmed during specification review.
The project team reviews product format, dimensions, materials, trims, colours, artwork, logo method and packaging direction. Complex openings, structured panels, electronics pockets or unusual hardware may require additional detail. The goal is to create a sample brief that both buyer and factory can evaluate consistently.
Check measurements, packed fit, compartment access, carrying comfort, zipper and hardware operation, seam construction, reinforcement, logo placement and overall appearance. Use the product with representative contents. Record each requested change clearly and identify which version becomes the approval reference.
Timing is affected by specification completeness, material availability, custom components, artwork approvals and the number of revision rounds. A complete brief reduces avoidable questions, but an exact schedule still needs to be confirmed for the actual project. Buyers should include their target launch or delivery window when requesting review.
Provide product type, dimensions, materials, functions, branding, packaging, quantity, destination market and timing. If several colourways or products are planned, state the quantity split. These details help identify MOQ factors and sampling work without inserting a placeholder product or fake specification.
